Thai Massage is believed to have been developed by Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, physician to Buddha, more than 2,500 years ago in India. It made its way to Thailand, where Ayurverdic techniques and principles gradually became influenced by traditional Chinese medicine. Thai Massage is more energizing and rigorous than more classic forms of massage as it works on the major meridians, also called energy lines, which run throughout the human body.
The Thai Massage Room in the Spa of Palm Tree Court & Spa is beautifully decorated with warm relaxing colours to help you de-stress before the treatment has started. You will lie down on the comfortable mattress with oriental sarongs and plump cushions and be in total luxury whilst your massage is being carried out. This spacious room can also cater for singles and couples who want to relax and unwind together.
